To help with this process, the Spring-Ford Area School District will utilize online First Day Verification for the 2022-2023 school year. Whether this is your first year as a Spring-Ford parent or your last, the transition to a new school year can be a bit overwhelming. Children in families whose income is between 130% and 185% of the poverty level are eligible for reduced price lunches.

Children from families with incomes at or below 130% of the poverty level, children from families receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and children in families receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits are eligible for free lunches. Spring-Ford offers healthy meals every school day. This supports the importance of the availability of school meal programs in improving the educational performance of our children. Studies have suggested a strong link between child nutrition and learning in school. This form needs to be filled out on a yearly basis.

  • Snack Permission - If the parent does NOT want the student to use their POS account for snacks, they need to complete a "Snack Limitation Form" located under the "Important Forms" section on the right hand side of this web page.
  • Milk choices are: 1% White Milk, Skim White Milk, skim chocolate Milk, & Skim Strawberry Milk.

Secondary Level: 2 oz protein, 1 cup vegetable, 1 cup fruit, servings of grain/bread, & 8 oz milk.
